Shana Reiss, our President and Principal Architect, is a LEED Accredited Professional (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) with a background in implementation of green design principles and a desire to promote positive stewardship practices in the design, construction, and longevity of a project.

Shana earned a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

Shana has extensive experience in designing wineries. Her technical expertise, project and team management skills, attention to detail, and precision are a valuable asset to any architectural project.

Shana enjoys playing volleyball, skiing, and hiking. She also makes an effort to be engaged in humanitarian architectural projects and has been involved in the design of four school projects in Eastern Africa.

Jessica is a Project Manager at Reiss Design Studio, PC. She has earned her Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University in 2021. She is excited to continue her learning and have the opportunity to influence communities through real-life designs. Jessica is located in our Northern Idaho office.

Jessica is from a small town in Minnesota. She spent 6 years on the central coast, but now calls north Idaho her home. In her spare time she enjoys exploring new places, going for hikes with her dog, trying out new recipes, and teaching line dances.

Allison Bolla is a Project Manager at Reiss Design Studio, PC. She earned a Bachelor of Architecture with a double minor in Sustainable Environments and History from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She is passionate about environmentally conscious and beautiful design practices.

Allison and her husband are excited to have returned to the Central Coast. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exploring the Central Coast, and learning new creative skills.

Lauren Nelson brings six years of organizational and administrative experience to the team. She graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and, after a brief stint in beautiful Northern California, is thrilled to be back home on the Central Coast.

Lauren and her husband love exploring the Central Coast with their two children, as well as other areas around the world. When she has time, she loves to curl up with a good book or be inspired by a new recipe. She and her husband are active members in their church community, where Lauren serves as a mentor to women in college during her free time.
